Program deliveries have accelerated since 2023 through the combined efforts of HAI, the HAF, the U.S. government and Lockheed Martin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis F-16V delivery supports Greece\u2019s leadership in allied operations and reflects our commitment to providing mission-ready capability for the Hellenic Air Force,\u201d said Mike Shoemaker, vice president of the Integrated Fighter Group at Lockheed Martin. \u201cThe F-16V strengthens NATO integration, enhances operational effectiveness and reinforces Greece\u2019s role in regional security.\u201d <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Viper upgrade equips Greece\u2019s F-16s with the APG-83 AESA radar, enhanced mission systems, safety improvements and a modernized cockpit. The modernization work takes place in-country, supported by Lockheed Martin teams.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith the delivery of the 42nd F-16V, the program reaches its midpoint,\u201d said Alexandros Diakopoulos, Chairman &amp; CEO of Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI). \u201cThe domestically generated value remains in Greece and translates into security over the Aegean, in partnership with the HAF, the U.S. government, and Lockheed Martin, and we press ahead with the same pace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greece\u2019s F-16 upgrade program includes 84 aircraft.
