The Hellenic Aerospace Industry is currently a key member of the HAI SA Group, which is owned by the Greek government, EMC HELLAS, and 1Source Aviation Services. Ac- cording to the 2023 annual financial
statement, the company has 1,871 employees. the HAI follows a corporate strategy for en- vironmental protection: the company’s modern facilities are well equipped for the processing of industrial waste and have the necessary infra- structure for temporary storage and subsequent management. Combining cutting-edge technolo- gies with certified and environmentally respon- sible production processes and a highly trained and experienced workforce, the HAI offers prod-
ucts and services of highest quality.
aircraft manufacturing and construction projects
the integrated building facilities of the aircraft manufacturing plant are equipped with CAD/ CAM digital design and production automation
systems and Mechanical Design Analysis. the factory also operates a Synthetic Materials Pro- duction Unit, such as sandwich carbon. the facili- ties have been inspected and certified by Boeing, Dassault, Airbus, General Electric, Safran Aircraft Engines, and Lockheed Martin, and are also ISO 9001 and ISO 9000-3 certified.
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics’ construction programs account for the bulk of the order of air ducts, engine acess doors, aircraft side covers, F1 fuel tanks, real fuselage section AFt FUSELAGE for the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
the HAI is the exclusive supplier of the above components, which account for 30% of the fu- selage. It also participates in the manufacture of structural parts for the fuselage of the C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft, accounting for 70% of the total. In addition, it collaborates with the Italian company Leonardo, heir to Alenia, in the production line of the cargo ramp for the C- 27J transport aircraft.
