to Viper level. the program portfolio is comple- mented by the production of critical structural components for civil and military aircrafts, as well as the ongoing support of national defense capabilities at whatever level is required. With quality assurance and quality control bodies as its depositaries, and staff working to the highest standards and earning the praise of international certification and control agencies, HAI has man- aged to establish itself over decades as the sole source of supply for important aircraft parts from the most important manufacturers in the interna- tional aviation industry.
haI: the new wings of greek innovation
the rapid development of unmanned aerial ve- hicles (UAVs) has created new challenges in the modern field of operations and, consequently, has introduced innovative technologies in the field of air defence. HAI is also a pioneer in this field, participating in national and European programs and investing strategically in the design and de- velopment of a new generation of high-quality unmanned aerial vehicles and counter-UAS sys- tems (Counter-UAS), which combine electronic warfare, advanced radar, and precision anti-air- craft weapons.
the “Kentavros” has already been tested oper- ationally in combat conditions with excellent results and will be the anti-drone weapon of Greek frig- ates. It will soon be followed by “Archytas”, the first Greek multi-role Class II UAS, designed to operate in a variety of surveillance, reconnaissance, elec- tronic warfare, and operational support missions. this is the first time in the long history of HAI that such a large Class II aircraft has been designed, developed, assembled, manufactured, and indus- trialized entirely by its own personnel. the comple- tion of the “Archytas” program and the industriali- zation of the “Kentavros” system with its evolution into a suite of electronic warfare systems will not only mark the successful completion of two pro- grams, but above all the beginning of a new ac- tivity: the manufacture of unmanned vehicles and countermeasure systems of all kinds, of very high quality, either autonomously or in collaboration with other Greek and foreign companies.
this is precisely where the essence of the in- vestment lies, since while developing these sys- tems, HAI and the exceptional engineers involved have accumulated valuable technical knowledge, which will be fully exploited for the benefit of our country in the near future. In this direction, one of the programs that marks the company’s “fiftieth
