ΙPERION
Detection and Neutralization System for Unmanned Threats
IPERION is an advanced Counter-UAS system developed by the Hellenic Aerospace Industry, designed for the detection, identification and electronic neutralization of threats posed by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drone swarms.
Leveraging ESM / ELINT / SIGINT technologies and ECM jamming capabilities, the system provides passive detection, continuous monitoring and electronic countermeasures for the protection of critical infrastructure, military installations and naval units.
System Overview
The rapid proliferation of small UAVs and drone swarms poses new, complex demands on defense and security. IPERION addresses these needs through early warning, comprehensive situational awareness and effective electronic countermeasures.
Its passive architecture enables the detection and identification of electromagnetic emissions without continuous active transmission – maintaining a low detection footprint. With 360° coverage and the capability to engage multiple targets simultaneously, IPERION supports demanding land-based and naval operational environments.

ECM Jamming
Electronic jamming to disrupt the communications, data links and control functions of unmanned threats.
Range Exceeding 10km
Capability to detect and identify drones/UAVs at ranges exceeding 10km.
0.3-6 GHz Jamming
Sweep jamming across the 0.3-6 GHz spectrum, countering threats across a broad range of frequencies.
GNSS Jamming
Jamming of satellite navigation systems, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou.
Drone Swarm Countermeasures
Capability to electronically neutralize multiple drones operating simultaneously and from different directions.
